A Quick Note About August, Plus Why Consistency Is Everything

A Little Heads-Up: Catherine Is Taking Some Well-Earned Time Off

I want to make sure everyone has plenty of notice for a small schedule adjustment coming up in early August. Catherine will be on vacation August 6th, 7th, and 8th, so any classes she typically teaches on those days will be affected. Please check the schedule and reach out to us directly if you have questions about your bookings during that window.

Catherine gives so much of herself to this community week after week, and we are genuinely thrilled she is taking time to rest and recharge. The best instructors are the ones who take care of themselves too, and that is something we talk about with our clients all the time. Rest is part of the practice. We will see her back on the schedule refreshed and ready to go, and in the meantime our team is here to support your movement routine.

Why Showing Up Consistently Matters More Than You Might Think

One of the things I love most about what we do here at Lowcountry Power Pilates Studio is watching people build a real, sustainable practice over time. It is not about any single session. It is about the accumulation of sessions, the small decisions to come back again and again, even when life gets busy or the schedule shifts a little.

The body responds to repetition. When you give it regular, intentional movement, it learns. Stability improves. Posture changes. The way you carry yourself through a whole day starts to feel different. None of that happens from one great class, and all of it becomes possible when you commit to showing up with some regularity. If you have been on the fence about adding a second or third session to your week, consider this your gentle nudge.

Making the Most of What We Offer While Catherine Is Away

Those three days in August are a perfect opportunity to try something a little different if your usual class is unavailable. Our Group Reformer classes have been incredibly popular lately, and our Group Mat and Tower classes offer a wonderful complement to reformer work. If you have been curious about a more personalized experience, a Private or Duet session can be a great way to deepen your practice with focused attention.

Our instructors, including Camille, Emily, Jill, Joanelle, Joyce, Kelly, Lila, and Wendy, are all here and ready to support you. Every one of them brings genuine expertise and care to the work they do, and I am proud of the team we have built together. Do not let a small schedule change break your momentum. Use it as a chance to explore.

The Community That Keeps This Place Going

I say it often because I mean it every time: this studio is the people in it. The fact that so many of you keep returning, keep booking, and keep investing in your own wellbeing is what makes Lowcountry Power Pilates Studio the place it is. That consistency from you inspires consistency from us, and it creates an energy in the studio that is honestly hard to put into words.

If you have a friend, neighbor, or someone in your life who has been looking for a welcoming, results-focused community to move with, bring them in. The best way to grow a community like ours is one genuine referral at a time. We are here to help adults who are serious about feeling better in their bodies, and we take that responsibility to heart every single day.
